2 days ago - on July 30 - I saw a commercial that had Santa as the main character (who recognized it was summer by wearing a Hawaiian shirt). Really?!

I hate self-entitlement, gossip, disrespectful cell phone users and unwanted input… ironic that I live in Orange County. I’m a jeans, t-shirt, flip-flop girl, but I like to dress up for a “night out.” I wish I could spend more time traveling and less time working. I can’t get over great food (from a nice restaurant, a hole-in-the wall or my kitchen); I treasure time with my friends, a hard laugh and a good cry. And lastly, Jesus is important to me.

Hobby Lobby has their Christmas stuff out already too. How weird is that?
I was going to tell you about Hobby Lobby too, but it was already said soooo I have.....nothing! ;)
Do you mean July 30? That's so funny...I am already excited for Christmas, though. Maybe it's because that's when the baby will be here.

Oops... you're right - it is July. I changed it. I'm not even sure what it was for, I was so appalled that Santa was on my television that I didn't pay attention. Thus, defeating the purpose of the commercial.
david and i were JUST talking about this today...anything Christmas related is just down right annoying in the middle of the summer, but somehow is fun and festive in the winter. this bugs!!
